Liam Gallagher Wants Oasis, The Stone Roses & The Verve To Play A Show Together

Liam Gallagher has revealed that he’s been trying to get British rock icons Oasis, The Stone Roses and The Verve to play a show together “for years”.

Taking to Twitter (where else?) this morning, Gallagher hinted at “something big” for 2018, while telling a fan about how he wants the three bands to play a gig together.

“I’m gonna round up the troops for something BIG not summer all are welcome,” he said, before later fanning the flames of a potential Oasis reunion by saying, “Now we have your attention stay tunes we are family Gallagher vibes in the area.”

After a fan suggested a show featuring Oasis, The Stone Roses and The Verve, Gallagher responded super-positively.

“I’ve been banging on about that for yours to [concert promotor] SJM,” he said.

“OASIS THE ROSES THE MIGHTY VERVE what a night some people need to get of there [sic] high chairs.

“So many extraordinary people on this planet we need to come together cmon music is power”

Gallagher is returning to Australia for Falls Festival and a pair of sideshows later this year, in support of his debut solo album As You Were, which is out this Friday.
