FOMO Festival Destroys Would-Be Scalper Trying To “Rip People Off”

FOMO Festival organisers have taken a would-be scalper to task after they allegedly tried to “rip people off” by selling a ticket at an inflated price online.

The FOMO crew took to Facebook overnight to call out a rookie scalper called Reilly, who had advertised a ticket to Post Malone’s Brisbane FOMO sideshow on Gumtree for a cool $350, as Pedestrian.TV points out.

Needless to say, Reilly was pretty severely roasted…

Reilly’s Gumtree ad was taken offline this morning, but other Post Malone fans have spotted tickets to the muso’s Brisbane show being advertised on controversial resale site Viagogo for more than $2,500 a ticket.

We at Music Feeds even spotted one being advertised for $8,000…

In response, FOMO organisers are calling for people to send them names and ticket numbers of any would-be scalpers, so that they can also cancel their tickets.

“If we catch anyone scalping tickets for over the original price, you will have your booking cancelled and you be banned from the show,” say the FOMO crew.

FOMO Festival will hit up Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne in January. Peep the full lineup and all the festival tour dates right here.
