Led Zeppelin Drummer’s Son Announces 2018 Australian Tribute Tour

Jason Bonham, the son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, has revealed that he’s bringing his ‘Led Zeppelin Experience’ show to Australia in 2018, for shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

John Bonham died when Jason was only 14 years old, but the rocker’s blood and drumming talents flowed through to his son, who’ll be heading down under in January for some huge theatre performances showcasing Zeppelin’s rock legacy.

The now 51-year-old Jason Bonham has performed live with Led Zeppelin a number of times over the years, and the ‘Led Zeppelin Experience’ show will feature some of the band’s biggest hits, iconic artwork and Bonham’s own home videos and personal stories.

“This is my story. It’s what my Dad and Led Zeppelin meant to me,” he says.

“It’s become more than just me playing the songs. The audience are as strong a part of it as anything. You see generations of different people at the show, from kids to their grandfathers — people that saw them back in the day. It’s been a fantastic journey.”
