Congrats, Sydney! Australia’s greatest pub singalong master-blasters — John Farnham, Daryl “that’s the way it’s gonna be little darlin” Braithwaite and more of your dad’s faves are coming to play a show in you next year.
Their previously-announced Red Hot Summer Tour has added an extra special show at Cockatoo Island on Sunday, February 25th, and will be rocking Sydney harbour with a monster Aus legacy rock lineup backed up bys Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows with Vika & Linda and 1927.
That’s in addition to the tour’s previously announced shows in Jacobs Well (QLD), the Central Coast (NSW), Wodonga, Mornington and Bendigo (VIC) and Launceston (TAS).
“We are stoked to be able to add this World Heritage listed site to the 2018 run for the John Farnham headlined leg of the Red Hot Summer Tour,” says promoter Duane McDonald.
“We strive to take the tour to unique venues and areas and it doesn’t get much better than Cockatoo Island, right in the middle of Sydney Harbour. This is going to be a show where memories are made.”
Tickets to the freshly-added Sydney event include chartered ferry transfers from King St Wharf to the Island, returning after the show wraps.
