Watch Josh Homme Break Up A Fight During A Queens Of The Stone Age Gig

Josh Homme has made it pretty clear that there will be no fighting at Queens Of The Stone Age shows during a gig at New York City’s Madison Square Gardens.

As NME report, the frontman halted the gig before playing ‘Domesticated Animals’ off their most recent album ‘Villains’ when he spotted a fight.

“What’s going on? Is this something like a fight?” he said, clearly disgruntled with what was going on in front of him.

“We’re not here to fight. If you want to fight, stick your head up your ass and fight for air – and get the fuck out.”

He continued on telling the crowd that, “we’re here to dance,” and further assured that, “everybody’s going to get laid,” which is a pretty brave assurance to make.

“My point is this: we can show up exactly how we should be, right? So don’t be a dick… we’re not the soundtrack to you fighting, we’re the soundtrack to you fucking. If you don’t like that, get the fuck out.”

Homme has no problem calling out shitty behaviour in the live arena. While he was here for this year’s Splendour In The Grass he called out a heckler saying, “It’s past your fucking bed time son.”
