Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Features On Tonight Alive’s New Album

‘Sif you weren’t already frothing for Tonight Alive‘s fierce new record Underworld to arrive, here’s something that’ll make you so excited you’ll have to push your fingers into. your. EYESSSSSSSSS.

One of the 13 tunes on the Sydney rockers’ new album features the one and only Mr. Corey Taylor — head maggot wrangler of Slipknot and husky-voiced ginger balladeer of Stone Sour — as a guest vocalist.

According to the official album tracklist (below) posted to a number of online stores, CT features on the disc’s final track ‘My Underworld’.

PVRIS frontwoman Lyn Gunn also features on their yet-to-be-released album track ‘I Disappear’, which is also awesome.

Gunn and Tonight Alive’s Jenna McDougall have been known to collab live, with Jenna crashing PVRIS’s Sydney set to duet on ‘My House’ back in 2015.

McDougall has also been known to fangirl hard over Slipknot, whom Tonight Alive shared the stage with at Soundwave Festival in 2015.

“I’ve never seen a band put on a show like Slipknot and I really, really respect Corey Taylor and his dynamics in his voice and his presence as a frontman,” McDougall told Spotlight Report at the time, naming the Masked Ones as the band she was most excited to see at the now-defunct festival.

She also (probably) channelled Corey’s ‘knot hairstyle for fashion inspo last year:

And pulled it off, IMO.

Now, while we count down the days til Tonight Alive’s new album Underworld and its big ticket collabs hit our eardrums on 12th January 2018, you can catch them live on their Back To Beginnings national tour right-the-fark-now ahead of their performance at next year’s UNIFY Gathering festival.

Give their epic new track ‘Temple’ a spin below.
