Linkin Park Announce New Live Album Featuring Chester Bennington’s Last Performances

Linkin Park have announced the release of a live album One More Light Live featuring some of frontman Chester Bennington‘s final live performances.

The live record will feature recordings taken from their ‘One More Light World Tour’ which they were in the middle of when Bennington passed away.

“After we finished recording the album, we joked with Chester that—since he had delivered so many stunning performances in the studio—he had set the bar extra high to produce that alchemy on stage each night,” the band wrote in a statement about the release of the record.

“Not surprisingly, he welcomed the challenge.”

The album features songs from their most recent record One More Light like ‘Heavy’ and ‘Good Goodbye’ plus old favourites like ‘In The End’ and ‘What I’ve Done’.

“For those of you who attended this tour in person, we thank you,” the band further wrote about the release.

“For those who could not, we hope this live album gives you a glimpse into how magical these shows were for the six of us.”

In October, Linkin Park came together to pay tribute to Bennington, in their first performance since his passing, with members of Korn, System Of A Down, Bring me The Horizon, Blink-182.

Prior to this live album, they released a music video for ‘One More Light’ using live footage from their world tour.

The album will be available on 15th December.
