Production Halted On Queen Biopic

Production has been halted on the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody after the director Bryan Singer failed to return after the Thanksgiving holiday.

As the BBC report, Twentieth Century Fox have confirmed that production has stopped temporarily due to the “unexpected unavailability” of Singer.

According to the director’s representatives, he is unable to return to set due to “a personal health matter concerning Bryan and his family”.

“Bryan hopes to get back to work on the film soon after the holidays.”

The movie is being filmed in the UK with footage emerging earlier in the year of Rami Malek playing Freddie Mercury.

It was due to be released in December of next year, however, it’s unknown whether Singer’s absence will push that date back.

It’s also unknown at this stage when Singer will be returning to set.
