Here Are Triple J’s Most-Watched Like A Versions Of 2017

Triple j has revealed which Like A Version covers captured your attention the most this year, compiling them into a list based on how many times they were watched.

Tash Sultana‘s cover of MGMT’s ‘Electric Feel’ clocked the most views based on the combined YouTube and Facebook streams which is impressive given that the cover was nearly 9 minutes long.

Aurora‘s rework of Massive Attack’s ‘Teardrop’ came in at number two while HAIM’s take on Shania Twain’s ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, which was approved by the legend herself, rounded out the top three.

60 per cent of the top 10 is made up of Aussie acts with Gang Of Youths, Julia Jacklin, Meg Mac, Ball Park Music and Gordi also included.

Of course, the year of Like A Version isn’t over just yet. Charli XCX is set to take to the air this Friday with a cover and an original that will no doubt draw plenty of attention.
