UPDATE: Halsey Announces 2018 Australian Tour Dates
ORIGINAL STORY: Halsey is preparing to make a “big announcement” for her Australian and New Zealand fans, and we’re pretty certain it’s a new tour down under.
Halsey hype has been high ever since the American singer-songwriter said earlier this year that she’d return to Australia “in less than a year”, but tour dates have been evading us ever since.
But, taking to Twitter today, Halsey told fans to stay tuned.
“I got a big announcement coming on Thursday for AUS and NZ and I gotta say I think ur gonna be exceptionally stoked for this one,” she wrote.

It’s unclear if she meant Thursday US time or Australian time, but it’s safe to say the announcement will be coming later this week. UPDATE: Australian touring company Secret Sounds has since confirmed that a tour will be announced on Thursday:

Halsey last toured Australia between 2015 and 2016, but was in the country earlier this year for a short promotional trip (which included no public shows) in support of her latest album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.
