Triple j ‘Breakfast’ lads Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton are set to debut a new stand-up comedy show in their hometown of Adelaide next month.
Returning to the stage for two shows at the Rhino Room in March, the boys will be showing off their comedy chops for the first time since their 2016 Adelaide Fringe show ‘Ben and Liam’s Big Night Of Spiffy Banter’.
The duo will be supported at both of their upcoming shows by local comedian Amos Gill as MC, as well as two “surprise” local support acts.
Ben and Liam started their radio careers at Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7, before joining triple j in 2017 as replacements for Matt Okine and Alex Dyson. Since joining the station, the pair have made headlines for poking fun at Triple M, repeatedly dogging each other, making fun of other radio hosts and for talking honestly about their mental health.
Ben and Liam also took home Adelaide Comedy’s 2017 Out Of Adelaide Award recently, as recognition of their success is expanding their horizons and helping others to do the same.
