With Confidence Announce First Show Since Sexual Misconduct Allegations

With Confidence are back following a brief hiatus.

The Sydney pop-punks have announced their return to the live arena with a new show for a very good cause.

They’ll be performing a benefit gig in California alongside Arlington and States & Capitals on the 19th of next month, with all proceeds going to Hope For The Day, an organisation that works to prevent suicide prevention through mental health support and education.

“Come hang and learn more about an organisation that’s important to us,” the band writes on Facebook.

The news comes after With Con announced back in December that they’d be “taking time off” after both guitarist Luke ‘Rockets’ Thomas and frontman Jayden Seeley were accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.

“We have put all touring on hold and postponed the recording of our second album,” the boys announced at the time. “We will instead be spending time at home with our families to personally process everything that has occurred. We need to and want to be a band that deals with their past, present and future responsibly.”

Following the accusations, Thomas parted ways with the group; however, according to their official Facebook page, Seeley still remains an active member of the lineup.

Music Feeds has contacted the band’s reps to confirm.
