Are Linkin Park Working On New Music?

Three members of Linkin Park have been spotted in the studio, fuelling speculation that the band might be recording new music together.

Rapper Mike Shinoda and guitarist Brad Delson were tagged together in an Instagram post from the studio by fan site Linkin Park Live (which appears to be a screen-grab of Mike’s own Insta story) while bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell also posted a social media update from the studio, where he seems to be running through some bass tones.

There’s no indication that both pics were taken at the same place, but it’s certainly got tongues wagging that the trio could be up to something Linkin-Park related.

It comes after Shinoda went on Phoenix’s Member Guest podcast, confirming that he’s “written a lot of new songs”, following the release of his own solo EP, Post Traumatic, and the new song he unveiled live with his LP bandmates at Chester’s memorial concert, ‘Looking For An Answer’.

Linkin Park recently  released live album One More Light Live, featuring some of frontman Chester Bennington‘s final live performances. The recordings were taken from the band’s ‘One More Light World Tour’, which they were in the middle of when their frontman passed away.
