PREMIERE: Take A Trip Back To 1991 With The Ruminaters’ Genre-Bending Concept Album, ‘Welcome to Flight S.U.N 91’

Sydney’s favourite ‘Psycho playful garage’ lovers The Ruminaters are getting ready to hit the runway with their psych-soaked sophomore LP Welcome to Flight S.U.N 91 and Music Feeds would like to welcome you aboard for the exclusive early take-off.

Premiering below ahead of its official release this Friday, 16th March, the epic 14-track collection is a genre-bending conceptual trip through time, winding through the musical terrain of 90’s and early 2000’s grunge, desert, psych, alt-rock, Brit-pop and more.

Recorded at London’s RAK Studios with the band’s long time producer and comrade Rob Brinkmann, the disc also features the previously released stick-it-to-the-m-anthem, ‘Boys Off Work’.

“The album is a journey about the sun flying back to the year 1991, and the songs are its passengers,” the lads explain to Music Feeds.

“Every song on the album has its own sound. There is a dark and turbulent element at the departure point of the album which plateaus out to a smooth and dreamy ride once you’re at cruising altitude.”

Spin the LP in full below, alongside the full list of dates of when you can catch The Ruminaters performing live on their Left Our Jobs Forever bus tour at a city near you.
