Splendour In The Grass 2018 Sells Out, Resale Details Announced

It’s all over! Tickets to Splendour In The Grass 2018 have officially sold out, less than half an hour after going on sale.

Tickets went on sale to the general public at 9am AEST this morning, and all three day tickets, all single day tickets and camping tickets have now been snapped up by nimble-fingered festival-heads.

If you missed out, don’t ugly-cry just yet, because it’s not quite the end of the line. Just like previous years, Splendour will open an online ticket resale facility at 9am AEST on Monday, 14th May via Moshtix, giving ticket-holders who can’t attend the festival a chance to sell their tickets onto those who want them.

Sellers will get their money back — minus a $30 resale administration fee and the original transaction fees — and you can sign up to the resale waitlist here or jump on the Splendour website for more information.

Splendour organisers have warned hopeful festival-goers not to purchase tickets through “Facebook, Gumtree or unauthorised ticket resellers”.

“Splendour tickets include the name and date of birth of the ticket-holder. This is checked against your ID at the festival gates. There is NO facility in place that allows a ticket holder to change the name and date of birth on a ticket and transfer it to another person,” they said today.

Splendour In The Grass’ 2018 lineup will be headlined by Lorde, Vampire Weekend and Kendrick Lamar, with stacks of other local and international acts on offer including Khalid, The Wombats, CHVRCHES, Miguel, Franz Ferdinand, MGMT, Hilltop Hoods, Angus & Julia Stone, Gang Of Youths and Dune Rats.

For those who can’t make the trip to North Byron Parklands this year — with the fest running from Friday, 20th to Sunday, 22nd July — stay tuned for the first batch of Splendour sideshows, which are expected to drop in the coming weeks.
