Kanye West Announces Two New Albums Coming In June

After hopping back on Twitter to live-tweet the philosophy book he’s currently writing, Kanye West has finally tweeted the release date of his highly-anticipated eighth studio album.

He tweeted saying his album “is 7 songs” and will be released Friday, 1st June.

This comes after news broke that Kanye was recording his eighth album on a mountain top, because of course he was.

Perhaps more surprisingly, he has also announced that he and longtime collaborator Kid Cudi will be releasing a joint album the following week.

Kanye also tweeted that his and Cudi’s group is called ‘Kids See Ghosts’.

Finally, he announced that two signees of his record label, G.O.O.D. Music, are releasing new music in May and June as well. Pusha T will be dropping new music on Friday, 25th May, and Teyana Taylor will be doing the same on Friday, 22nd June.

Kanye’s last album, The Life of Pablo, was released early 2016.
