Ryan Adams has posted a video of himself covering Vampire Weekend’s Mansard Roof on his Facebook page. The recording is pretty good quality considering it was done with a webcam, and, as with most of his cover songs, he makes it seem like one of his own. He named the video as Track One which might imply there is more to come.
“Mansard Roof Vampire Weekend cover. I do it no justice but I love it. I sung it imagining being on a beach made of diamonds with a darkened night sky full of twinkling sand.”
Adams recently released some tour only on 7″ tracks with a new song call Empty Room along with a cover of Alice In Chains’ Nutshell.
