Pearl Jam To Release New Album In 2019

We’ve all been highly anticipating a new Pearl Jam record, and after the release of their first single in five years ‘Can’t Deny Me’, it looks like we finally know when we can expect the band’s eleventh studio album.

Consequence of Sound reports that, in an interview on their audio interview series Kyle Meredith With…, Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament said that 2019 “is probably safe to say” when it comes to an album dropping.

According to Ament, the band needs “a good solid six to eight weeks carved out where we’re just recording all these ideas that we have.”

“The one thing we have working against us is the upcoming tour, the other thing we have working against us is it takes three or four months to do a vinyl version of any record.” Honestly, fair enough.

While Ament remained tight-lipped about content on the record, he did say that “there’s a lot to be inspired by and a lot to be pissed off about.”
