The 1975 Announce Two New Albums, Drop New Song & Video ‘Give Yourself A Try’

After two years of hearing almost nothing from the internet’s favourite band, The 1975 have finally announced not one but two brand new albums, following on from 2016’s I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It.

The two new albums, titled A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships and Notes on a Conditional Form, are scheduled for an October 2018 and May 2019 release respectively.

Along with the album announcement, the band premiered their new song ‘Give Yourself A Try’ on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. It’s a glorious return to form for the band, giving us the alternative pop goodness we’ve come to expect, but with a little crunchy kick.

After a long countdown on YouTube, the band also dropped a pretty intense music video for the track, directed by Diane Martel. Watch it below.

The 1975’s return was prefaced by a bunch of teasers, including cryptic posters which appeared around the world, including in Australia.
