The guys behind the successful Soundwave Festival have launched a new record label this week, called 3Wise Records. Announcing its arrival by Twitter and Facebook, they claim to be dedicated to releasing world-class music from a handpicked roster of talented artists.
For many years Soundwave has been a household name as the leader of all things punk, metal and rock with the annual Soundwave Festival, Sidewaves and countless successful tours. Recently they’ve been organising the spin off Soundwave Revolution Festival, as well as another event with a very different musical flavour, called Harvest Festival. It makes us wonder how they’ve found time to start this new boutique label!
A few bands have already been announced on the label:
Detroit pop punkers Fireworks have been making giant waves across the globe, and will release their spectacular sophomore album Gospel on July 29th. The 3Wise Records release will feature Australian only bonus content including the Bonfires EP and 2 bonus tracks.
Zebrahead will release their new album Get Nice! on August 5th. You can also catch them on the upcoming Soundwave Revolution line-up.
