Second Act Confirmed For UNIFY Gathering 2019

UPDATE: UNIFY Gathering 2019 Lineup Announced

ORIGINAL STORY: A second act has now been confirmed for the 2019 edition of Victoria’s UNIFY Gathering festival, after Trophy Eyes were named as the first confirmed act earlier this week.

Triple j has today announced that Aussie metalcore outfit I Killed The Prom Queen are indeed reuniting their mid-noughties lineup (including former vocalist Michael Crafter and drummer JJ Peters) to perform at UNIFY Gathering, after the band posted a bunch of teasers on social media last night.

The group were scheduled to perform at UNIFY Gathering back in 2017, but eventually pulled out of the festival.

Yesterday, UNIFY Gathering organisers confirmed that next year’s festival will host “two exclusive reunions” and six exclusive international acts.

UNIFY organisers also teased another act over the weekend, after dropping a bunch of other teasers last week.

The full 2019 UNIFY lineup is expected to be announced on Thursday, 9th August, but organisers have previously confirmed that a number of the acts listed on an “obviously fake” lineup poster are actually on the real lineup.

Stay tuned to Music Feeds for the 2019 lineup as soon as it arrives.
