Watch: Kings of Leon Quit Mid Show + Jared Followill Hints at Internal Problems

Kings of Leon ended their show early on Friday night after frontman Calleb Followill left the stage to vomit and never came back.

After 11 songs, Followill had complained of the heat and claimed he was just going to go backstage to vomit and grab a beer, but after several minutes it was clear he would not return. It was left up to the other band members to explain what was happening. Bassist Jared Followill apologised to the crowd, explaining his brother was a little unfit to carry on with the show. When the crowd booed, he said “Fucking hate Caleb, not us. I don’t know what to say. It’s not our fault. It’s Caleb. He can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible. I know you guys hate us. I’m so sorry, fucking burn our records. We would play right now if we could. We’re so sorry.”

Later Jared took to Twitter, saying “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words.”

After cancelling their next show in Houston, Jared took to Twitter again suggesting that here might be internal problems in the band.

“I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”
