Ivan Ooze Postpones Shows After Being Hospitalised

Ivan Ooze has postponed two shows on his current ‘Deserve’ tour, after being hospitalised on Wednesday night.

The Melbourne rapper has pushed his Newcastle and Canberra shows back to December, after doctors told him he isn’t allowed to travel or perform.

In a statement overnight, Ivan Ooze’s management said the MC was hospitalised on Wednesday night “after coughing up blood for a few days following the shows on the weekend”.

“The doctors have said he isn’t allowed to travel or perform at shows for a little while meaning we have had to reschedule the shows for this coming weekend to later in the year — all ticket holders will receive an email shortly,” they said.

“He’s doing much better now and will be on the mend shortly!”

In a statement on his Instagram Story, Ivan Ooze told fans, “Thanks for all the messages fam. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the shows but I promise I’ll make it up to you in December! Thanks again for all the love.”

Tickets already purchased for the Newcastle and Canberra shows will remain valid for the new dates, which you can see below.

Ivan Ooze announced his ‘Deserve’ tour back in July, after dropping a new song of the same name.

The tour made its way through Bendigo and Ballarat earlier this month.
