A Huge ‘Spicks And Specks’ Reunion Show Is Happening

UPDATE: You Need To Watch The Huge ‘Spicks And Specks’ Reunion Special

ORIGINAL STORY: The ABC‘s beloved music quiz show Spicks And Specks is preparing for a one-off reunion special, taking place this November.

Seven years since the end of the original series featuring host Adam Hills and team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst, the show is returning with a new one-hour episode featuring its three original stars, as part of the ABC’s annual Ausmusic Month program.

The team captains will be joined by rapper Briggs, singer-songwriter Ricki-Lee Coulter and comedians Frank Woodley and Denise Scott, as well “a fantastic lineup of Australia’s music greats, both past and present”, the ABC says.

“Like most music acts, Myf, Alan and I are getting the band back together for one last gig,” says Adam Hills.

“Unlike most music acts, we all still get along with each other, and can’t wait to spend some time in each other’s company. I’m so excited to bring Spicks And Specks back to the screen again, and especially for Ausmusic Month.”

Myf Warhurst has also confirmed her excitement on Twitter…

The original Spicks And Specks series ran from 2005 until 2011, with its final episode airing on 23rd November 2011. The show was revived for a brief series in 2014, but without Hills, Warhurst or Brough.

Calls for a reboot of the ABC‘s other music show Recovery were recently shut down by the broadcaster, but luckily we’ll get to see Adam, Alan and Myf on Spicks And Specks at least one more time.
