St Kilda Festival Wants Your Band To Join Its 2019 Lineup

Melbourne’s annual St Kilda Festival is already gearing up for a big 2019, and it’s put out a call for bands, artists and musicians around the country to join its upcoming lineup.

ICYMI, St Kilda Festival is billed as Australia’s largest free music festival, and has sported an absolute busload of Aussie talent throughout the years. Just this year the lineup sported the likes of Architecture In Helsinki, The Jezabels, Tkay Maidza, Paces, Mallrat and Baker Boy, just to name a few.

The festival’s new competition is calling for 10 acts from across the country to play the event’s New Music Stage on Sunday, 10th February 2019.

On top of that, the crowd favourite out of these 10 acts will receive a $5,000 prize and the invitation to play the festival’s main stage in 2020, for the event’s 40th anniversary. HUGE.

If you’re interested in applying for this massive opportunity, head to the festival’s website here. Applications close Friday, 28th September.

St Kilda Festival’s 2019 lineup is yet to be announced, but you can relive the 2018 event in the video below.
