John Bonham’s Old Car Up For Sale

A very special motor car from the annals of rock history is up for sale, with the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham‘s 1915 Ford Model T open to anyone who is willing to treat it right.

Bonham, who died in September 1980, owned the car in the seventies, with it featuring in Led Zeppelin’s 1976 live film, The Song Remains The Same. It appears during a section where Bonham drives the vehicle through some fields while the band perform Moby Dick from Led Zeppelin II.

At the moment, the car is owned by one Bruce Screen, who has kept it safely in his garage for over a decade, as he was afraid to drive the thing on the road, according to a Spinner report.

A two-year old article in the Boston Herald states that the car was made by Andy Brizio in San Francisco who then shipped it to Bonham in 1974.

Screen, keen to see the car go to a good home, said, “It needs to be seen and looked after. I’d be interested to hear from people with ideas about where it could go.”
