Muse Return With New Single ‘Pressure’ & Terry Crews-Starring Music Video

Brooklyn Nine Nine‘s Terry Crews stars as a high school principal turned purple monster Terminator in the fantastically bizarre music video for Muse‘s new single ‘Pressure’.

The tune sees the trio, who’ve recently been dissed by pockets of fans as “space Nickelback”, improve their form with some groovy riff-powered rock.

The music video is a glorious homage to ’80s pop culture, starring frontman Matt Bellamy as the Marty McFly-esque frontman of his hometown’s local ‘battle of the bands’ winners, whose brass band-backed performance at their local high school prom goes horribly awry in a Back To The Future meets Gremlins meets Terminator-style retro movie nightmare.

Something tells us Muse are big Stranger Things fans, because they’ve been channelling similar ’80s-inspired imagery in all the visuals for their new album Simulation Theory, which is due out on Friday, 9th November.

To celebrate the release, the trio have also announced a huge run of European and North American tour dates for 2019 and are teasing more to come, which hopefully means it won’t be long before they’re back down under.

Muse last toured Australia in 2017, but only visited Sydney and Melbourne, which pissed off a lot of Aussie fans outside those two cities.
