DJ Pete Tong Stalked By Massive Attack Singer

Ibiza DJ, and radio presenter, Pete Tong has taken out a restraining order against a singer Shara Nelson after she reportedly stalked him and called herself his wife.

According to The Sun, the court heard about her strange harassments, reportedly telling colleagues at his work that she was his manager; and her use of ‘Tong’ as her surname, claiming they were married and she has his child. Both claims were false.

Nelson first worked with Massive Attack in the late 80s, when they were then known as The Wild Bunch. After the name change, she appeared on their first album Blue Lines in 1990 on the single Daydreaming. As well as providing vocals, Nelson also co-wrote songs with Massive Attack, including the hit single Unfinished Sympathy, which was also included on that album.

Nelson has been banned from contacting Tong and his friends and family, as well as being given community service. A witness outside the court said “Shara looked a shadow of her former self. You would never believe this was once a successful singer.”
