Fred Durst has confirmed Limp Bizkit are planning on touring Australia in February 2012. Earlier today he said via twitter:
@freddurst Japan next week. Working on US tour middle/end of November. Australia in February. Bizkit rocks hard.
Some would assume this would make them a possibilty for the Soundwave 2012 line-up however earlier in the year Soundwave boss AJ Maddah ruled them out when he tweeted:
@iamnotshouting there is no way in hell any festival in Australia would be stupid enough to book them again.
Big Day out organiser ,Vivian Lees was also not keen on them saying:
Limp Bizkit will definitely not be performing [at] Big Day Out shows anywhere, ever.
Limp Bizkit haven’t played in Australia since the 2001 Big Day Out when 15-year-old Jessica Michalik was killed in the moshpit during their set.
