Ozzy Osbourne Says Black Sabbath Will Reform

Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed that the original Black Sabbath members are in the early stages of what could lead to a reunion tour and a new album.

In August we reported that Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward had begun rehearsing for a possible reunion. However, a few days later Guitarist Tony Iommi denied that the band would be getting back together in a statement on his website.

Now, in an interview with Billboard Ozzy spoke about the project saying:

Yes, it’s a very, very strong possibility, It’s in the very early stages, so we haven’t recorded anything yet. If it works out, it’ll work out. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep doing my thing.

So it looks like a reunion is on the cards and if the guys can all get along we’ll be seeing some new Black Sabbath in the near future.
