Foo Fighters 2011 Australian Tour Support Bands Announced

Local support acts for the Foo Fighters 2011 Australia/New Zealand tour have been announced. Tenacious D and Fucked up have already been announced as supports and they will be joined by a local act in each city, Calling All Cars (Perth), DZ Deathrays (Goldcoast, Melbourne), Stonefield (Sydney) and Cairo Knife Fight! (New Zealand).

The tour kicks off at Nib Stadium in Perth on November 28th and has already sold 250,000 tickets across its seven-date run. The Foo Fighters have been touring the world on the back of their most recent album Wasting Light, which went to number 1 on the Australian charts. Their current single Arlandria is fast approaching double platinum status.
