Iconic Rapper, Heavy D (Dwight Arrington Myers), has died at the age of 44 after being rushed to hospital overnight TMZ reports. Ambulances were called at around 11:25am (L.A time) to the rappers house in Beverly Hills and when they arrived he was conscious and speaking. He was transported to a hospital in L.A but died a short time later.
Police are investigating the death but have stated that there are no obvious signs of foul play.
Heavy D was best know for his hit Now That We Found Love and he performed at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert in Wales on October 8 where he sang Jam with La Toya Jackson.
