Radiohead Tease ‘Kid Amnesiae’ With Fan Favourite ‘Follow Me Around’

Radiohead will release the triple-album compilation, KID A MNESIA this Friday, November 5th. Ahead of its arrival, the British band has shared the previously unreleased ‘Follow Me Around’.

The acoustic ‘Follow Me Around’ is a long-time fan favourite, with a version of the track featuring in the 1998 tour documentary Meeting People Is Easy. It has also been performed live by Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace side project.

The band have published a music video for ‘Follow Me Around’, which stars a dishevelled looking Guy Pearce, who’s being followed around by a security camera.

The upcoming KID A MNESIA compilation ties in with the 21st anniversary of Radiohead’s paradigm-shifting fourth album, Kid A. The release pairs Kid A with the band’s 2001 follow-up, Amnesiac, in a triple-vinyl package. ‘Follow Me Around’ features on the third disc, Kid Amnesiae, which is made up of previously unreleased material from the Kid A and Amnesiac sessions, including B-sides, alternate versions and never-before-heard outtakes.

Radiohead shared the B-side ‘If You Say The Word’, in early September. Other tracks to look forward to include ‘Fog (Again Again Version)’, ‘Untitled’ (versions one, two and three), ‘Alt. Fast track’ and alternative takes of ‘Like Spinning Plates’, ‘Pulk/Pull’ and ‘The Morning Bell’.
