Lime Cordiale’s Touring Festival The Squeeze Is Returning Next Year

Lime Cordiale have announced the third instalment in their annual touring festival The Squeeze, which is set to return across April and May 2022. The band launched the festival in 2018 alongside Chugg Music, continuing the following year before taking 2020 and 2021 off due to the pandemic.

For its latest edition, the Leimbach brothers have handpicked a stacked lineup to join them along the way. The bill includes Thelma Plum, Client Liaison, The Vanns, Merci, Mercy, Teenage Dads, along with Beddy Rays (for two Queensland dates replacing the Vanns).

The 12-date run will kick off in Mandurah, WA before continuing along, taking in regional stops in the likes of Murray Bridge, Wagga Wagga, Coffs Harbour, Sandstone Point and Cairns. It will also include three a day on the green events in the Barossa, Geelong and Orange.

“It’s crazy to think how The Squeeze has grown from an indoor event to a major outdoor national festival for its third year. After the industry has been hit so hard it’s a great feeling to know that we’re pulling this off,” the Leimbachs commented in a statement.

“We share a great vision with Chugg Music to be able to achieve something more than just making records. This project is for the music industry and the hungry music lovers. We’re staying true to what we first set out to do which is to showcase musicians that are more than just hype and hold an event that has more than just music.”

“We want this to make a huge impact for the industry and a small impact on the environment. That’s why we have partnered with FEAT. Live on the festival to contribute a Solar Slice of $1.00 from each ticket sold which will go towards helping reduce carbon emissions and waste generated by live events with the aim of maximising positive environmental outcomes.”

Check out tour dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 3rd December at 12pm AEDT, with a pre-sale on Wednesday, 1st December you can register for here.
