My Chemical Romance Announce Additional Shows For 2023 Tour

My Chemical Romance may not be making their long-awaited return to our shores until 2023 – having postponed their Australian tour last month – but on the bright side, they’ve announced a handful of new shows for the run.

The reunited emo titans will play extra dates in all three cities of their Aussie tour in addition to previously sold-out dates. The band will be performing new shows at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Monday, 13th March, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, 16th March and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday, 20th March 2023.

When they finally happen, the shows will mark MCR’s first Australian shows since their Big Day Out appearances in 2012, and their first since reuniting in 2019 after a six-year hiatus.

The band were originally supposed to tour as part of the cancelled Download Festival in 2020, and were finally scheduled to return in March of next year before those dates were pushed back once again last month due to “uncertainty regarding international border restrictions and indoor venue capacity limits.”

See the dates for My Chemical Romance’s 2023 Australian tour below. Tickets for the newly-announced shows will go on sale at midday this Wednesday, 15th December. There’s also a Live Nation pre-sale kicking off tomorrow (Tuesday, 14th December) from 3pm.
