Lineup Announced For The Push: Live At The Bowl All Ages Event

Australian youth music organisation The Push has teamed up with Arts Centre Melbourne to put together a major all-ages event at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The lineup includes pop punk goofs Dune Rats, Brisbane rock crew Beddy Rays and Canberra’s nostalgia grunge poppers,  Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.

Dune Rats are gearing up for the release of their fourth album, Real Rare Whale, in June 2022. The album’s latest single, ‘What A Memorable Night’, came out last week. It follows the band’s 2021 single, ‘Up’, both of which were co-produced by Scott Horscroft (Birds of Tokyo, Polish Club). Real Rare Whale follows the band’s 2020 album, Hurry Up and Wait, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart.

Beddy Rays have also had a busy start to the year, releasing the single ‘Milk’ in early February and hitting the road for their On Ya Bike tour. Teen Jesus & the Jean Teasers broke through with their 2021 single, ‘Ahhhh!’, which hit #117 in triple j’s Hottest 200. The band’s latest single, ‘Miss Your Birthday’, was co-written by Alex Lahey.

The Push: Live at the Bowl is happening on Sunday, 10th April. It’s an all-ages, drug, alcohol, and smoke free event. Attendees under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets on sale 10am this Thursday, 17th February at artscentremelbourne.com.au.
