Due to overwhelming demand during pre-sale, Frontier Touring has announced a second Foo Fighters show at Melbourne’s AAMI Park during the band’s Australia and New Zealand tour this November-December.
The new show will take place on Tuesday, 6th December and feature support sets from The Chats and Teenage Joans. The band’s first stint at AAMI Park is happening on Sunday, 4th December, with support from Teen Jesus & the Jean Teasers and Hot Milk.
Foo Fighters were in the country for a one-off headline show at Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium last Friday, 4th March. Despite persistent rain, the sold-out show was described as “a night that reminded us all of what we’ve been missing for so long.”
Dave Grohl and co. played a three-hour set in front of 25,000 fans, selecting songs from throughout their 27 year career such as ‘All My Life’, ‘This Is A Call’, ‘Big Me’, ‘Best Of You’, ‘Monkey Wrench’ and ‘Everlong’. Medicine at Midnight, Foo Fighters’ tenth studio album, came out in 2021.
