Coldplay Are Definitely Teasing An Australian Tour

Something is afoot in camp Coldplay.

The arena rockers have sent Aussie fans into a right tizz today after teasing what looks suspiciously like Australian tour plans.

It all started when a mysterious Twitter account followed by Coldplay dubbed @alienradiofm shared a link to a Spotify recording of the band’s song ‘Magic’, recorded live at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre back in 2014:

Fans who checked out the song were quick to point out that the song’s Spotify canvas had been updated with the following:

Now if that’s not evidence enough that Coldplay are teasing an Aussie tour for later this year, juggernaut promoters Live Nation have just set up a new waiting list for fans who “want to be the first to find out when COLDPLAY is touring Australia & New Zealand”.

So there you have it. Get mum on the blower. A Coldplay 2022 Australian tour announcement is imminent!

ICYMI Coldplay released their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres, back in October of this year after previewing it with singles ‘Higher Power’ and ‘My Universe’. The record, which followed the band’s 2019 album Everyday Life, was produced by Max Martin and features collaborations with the likes of BTS and Selena Gomez.
