Lucy Dacus Announces Australian And New Zealand Tour Dates

After recently being revealed as part of the lineup for this year’s edition of Melbourne festival RISING, Lucy Dacus has also announced dates in Sydney, Auckland and Wellington.

The singer-songwriter will kick off the run on June 3 with a show at Hollywood Avondale in Auckland before playing San Fran in Wellington on June 5. She’ll perform at The Forum in Melbourne on June 8 as part of RISING, and The Metro in Sydney on June 10. Per a press release, there are more Australian dates yet to be revealed, so sit tight if you’re located elsewhere.

Dacus’ upcoming Australian tour marks her second visit to the country, having played shows in Melbourne and Sydney back in 2019. The dates also follows the release of Dacus’ third studio album, Home Video, which arrived back in June of last year after being previewed with singles like ‘Thumbs’, ‘Hot & Heavy’ and ‘Brando’.

Melbourne’s RISING Festival will run across venues throughout Melbourne’s CBD from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 12th June. Apart from Dacus, the lineup – announced last Friday – also includes the likes of Moses Sumney, Chai, Tkay Maidza, Sampa the Great, Harvey Sutherland, The Goon Sax and many more.
