Listen: Smashing Pumpkins Unreleased Demos From Deluxe Reiusses

Some previously unreleased tracks from Smashing Pumpkins upcoming deluxe album re-issues have appeared online. The band are re-releasing their first two albums: 1991′s Gish and 1993′s Siamese Dream. Both albums have a Deluxe 2 CD + DVD version release, which includes the original remastered albums with previously unreleased versions of the album tracks. Radio station 107.7 The End (Seattle, USA) have put up 4 demos to listen to.

The tracks are I Am One (Reel Time Demo/2011 Mix), from Gish, and Today (Broadway Rehearsal Demo), Rocket (Rehersal Demo), and Disarm (Acoustic Mix), which ended up on Siamese Dream.

Corgan and co. plan to reissue more of the band’s back catalogue, with 1995 double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, the five-disc rarities set The Aeroplane Flies High, and Adore to be released in 2012. In 2013, the band will merge Machina/The Machines of God and Machina II: The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music into one package.

Amongst all the re-issues, we’ll also get a new Smashing Pumpkins album, Oceania, which should be released around the beginning of next year.
