Listen To Haiku Hands’ Club-Ready New Song ‘Bye Bye’

Haiku Hands have shared their first single for the year, a thumping, club-primed burst of electro-pop titled ‘Bye Bye’. Produced by Ribongia along with El Gusto (Hermitude‘s Angus Stuart), it’s a rousing, anthemic kiss-off buoyed by buzzy synths, dancefloor-ready beats and catchy vocal refrains.

“It’s time to say bye bye to the way our world is being led with complete disregard to so many people and our environment,” the trio – Beatrice Lewis, Claire Nakazawa and Mie Nakazawa – shared in an accompanying statement.

‘Bye Bye’ arrives alongside a video directed by Jasmin Tarasin (who previously worked with the band on the visuals for their 2020 Sofi Tukker collab ‘Fashion Model Art’) that sees the trio dancing up a storm as rain pours down on them.

“Haiku Hands creates an environment where talking straight and talking out about what you believe in while you are dancing as hard as you can is an everyday occurrence,” Tarasin explains.

“I love being wrapped up in their world and creating environments where they can be themselves in the very best way. We have so much fun and we play around until we find what feels right. I love Bye Bye, it’s memorable and makes you feel like stomping and yelling in the rain.”
