The video showcases a new side of Post Malone, who has been nothing short of charming on this record campaign. Highlights of the day’s drinking high jinks include Malone giving Meyers face tattoos with a Sharpie, Meyers making Malone drink a beverage full of hot sauce and vinegar, and Malone talking about his brand of rosé.
Malone released the video for ‘Insane’ on Friday, 3rd June. It features Malone barefoot and wearing only his house pants by a pool. He dances like no one is watching while evidently drunk AF. More blissful shenanigans follow, creating a hilarious juxtaposition with the braggadocious lyrical content.
One of the more interesting guest appearances on Twelve Carat Toothache is Robin Pecknold, front person for indie-folk stalwarts Fleet Foxes. Malone and Pecknold debuted the collaboration, titled ‘Love/Hate Letter to Alcohol’, on Saturday Night Live in May, along with a chorus of backing vocalists and two percussionists playing taiko drums.
