Jack Johnson Has Announced A 2022 Australian Tour

Jack Johnson has announced he’ll return to Australian shores later this year, with the singer-songwriter playing five shows across the country in November and December.

All gigs will be held outside, taking place at Kings Park in Perth, HOTA Amphitheatre on the Gold Coast, Riverstage in Brisbane, the Sydney Opera House forecourt and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl. From there, Johnson will head to New Zealand for shows in Auckland and Napier.

The upcoming tour marks Johnson’s first Australian shows since 2019, when he was a headliner for that year’s edition of Bluesfest. The shows come in support of Johnson’s eighth studio album, Meet the Moonlight. The follow-up to 2017’s All the Light Above It Too arrived earlier this month after being previewed with lead single ‘One Step Ahead’ in April.

Support on the Australian shows of the run will come from Ziggy Alberts along with Emily Wurramara, while The Black Seeds will join Johnson in New Zealand. See dates and details below – tickets go on sale this Friday, July 1 at 10am local time, with a Live nation pre-sale kicking off a day earlier.
