Phantom Planet Reform

Following a three year hiatus, it looks as if Phanton Planet are set to reform after a video of the band rehearsing, which surfaced on the internet, has suggested so; the creation of a Twitter account @phantomreunion bolstering the excitement of fans.

The band, who are most famous for their hit single California, a song that would go on to open every episode to The OC, causing a mixture of joy and incredible frustration amongst television audiences the world over, stopped work back in 2008 after the poor performance of their album Raise The Dead.

Details are still hazy over whether founding member and hipster icon actor Jason Schwartzman will be rejoining the band, having left on good terms to pursue his promising acting career, but with the recent news that HBO have cancelled his show Bored To Death, a full on reunion doesn’t seem impossible.
