EMI Announce ‘Adopt a Gnome’ Art Project

Dominating the facade of EMI‘s new(ish) offices on Flinders St are two windows dedicated to displaying art projects as a way of giving back to Sydney’s artistic and creative community. Having featured works by artists such as Beastman, Esjay, Kris Moyes, Thomas Rawle (Papa Vs Pretty) and the Ma Gallery, EMI have just announced a new art project that will see the left hand window occupied by a serious of ten gnomes, all customised by local artists, indluding Esjay, Pigeon Boy, qwux, DICKIE, Jaxie Yael, Akira Alvarez, Antone Benois, Sanchez, TMOD and local 12-year-old artist Tripp Bianco. The gnomes will then be auctioned off on eBay with all the proceeds going to local charity The Girls & Boys Brigade who have been supporting the diverse needs of underprivileged children and youth living in inner city communities since 1882.

With bidding now open here, get in before the auction closes later today.
