The Arctic Monkeys were joined on stage last night by Miles Kane and performed Little Illusion Machine (Wirral Riddler) live for the first time ever. The track was the only B Side on The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala 7″ vinyl and was written by Kane. The song was performed at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne at the January 2nd show.
Arctic Monkeys played the Falls Festival in Lorne on New Year’s Eve, however they weren’t informed that they were supposed to run the NYE midnight countdown and walked off the stage at 11:58pm. Alex Turner then returned to the stage saying:
Sorry, we thought someone else had organised a countdown … let’s do one now then shall we?
The Arctic Monkeys Australian tour will role into Perth on January 6th.
