Stevie Wonder Rumoured For Bluesfest 2012

After his one-off Sydney concert in October 2011 that was the most expensive Australian concert last year, the man who puts the oogie in your boogie, Stevie Wonder, is set to return to Australia in early April. Whispers have emerged from very credible sources, stating that Stevie Wonder is set to headline the already epic 2012 Bluesfest line-up. In an announcement from Byron Bay Bluesfest, January 17th is set to be a special day.

The (very) special day to mark in the calendar is Tuesday 17th of January. It’s time to give full measure to what Bluesfest 2012 is all about!

GET READY, AS WE ARE GOING ALL OUT WITH THE 4TH ANNOUNCEMENT AND IT IS THE BIGGEST ONE YET, WITH AROUND 30+ ARTISTS TO BE ANNOUNCED, INCLUDING MAJOR HEADLINERS.

The festival, which already includes; Cold Chisel, Crosby Stills & Nash, Roger Daltrey (The Who) and John Butler Trio, is set to get a whole lot bigger with an additional 35 bands.

Stevie Wonder, who is set to headline the Sunday Night of the festival, is also set to feature on Paul Mccartney’s 2012 record Kisses on the Bottom on the last track of the album Only Our Hearts
