Guitar Hero icons Dragonforce have dropped off the Soundwave 2012 line-up, only to be replaced by two US acts Paradise Lost and Switchfoot.
Festival promoter AJ Maddah broke the news via his Twitter account this afternoon, stating: “Dragonforce could no longer play the festival “due to recording delays”.
However, he added that the festival has “gained” doom-metallers Paradise Lost and soft-rockers Switchfoot to fill the gap.
Maddah stated “There’ll be a few announcements today,” so there could be a few more interesting bits of Soundwave news to come later this evening.
