Heatwave Screws Up Again – No Alcohol License In Melbourne

Heatwave Festival organisers have screwed over fans again, this time failing to obtain a liquor license for today’s event at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. The event became ‘alcohol free’ when organisers posted a statement on their Facebook page just moments before the show began:

Due to the Victorian Police there will be no liquor license at the SMMB so save a fortune and have some drinks before getting on the grass with Kid Cudi, Tech N9ne, Obie, D12, Crazytown & Chamillionaire!

Disorganisation from the Heatwave promoters has annoyed fans since the event began just over a week ago. They continued to promote D12 on events even though the band failed to appear. NSW Fair Trading stepped in to ensure tickets were refunded to disappointed fans in Sydney.

Ticketmaster has also informed Music Feeds that all fans who purchased D12 meet-and-greet packages will be refunded if fans don’t meet the band.

Thank God the nightmare ends today …
