San Cisco have released their second single, Rocket Ship, taken from their upcoming sophomore EP, Awkward, which will hit Australian stores on Friday the 3rd of February.
Recently they managed a #7 placing on triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown for 2011 with the song and title track Awkward. The five-track EP is a statement of intent for a band on the cusp of something big, with the energetic and upbeat Rocket Ship playing out dreams of leaving everything behind that you know and trust to uncover and discover what you may become.
No strangers to the stage, San Cisco have performed their catchy tunes at festivals like the Big Day Out, Laneway, Fuse and Big Sound as well as playing Peats Ridge and Pyramid Rock over this summer. Now they will be hitting the road with The Jungle Giants in celebration of the EP’s anxiously anticipated release.
